
THE CHALLENGE
The scope of the project was to support Avolta in defining a cohesive and unique brand identity that will help position their newly developed Bread & Bakery concept in both its current and future markets. Starting with an analysis of surrounding trends and significant players in the market, we have distill this identity into a brand personality, manifesto, and tone of voice, culminating in a visual identity that reflects the brand’s honest and crafty nature, its elevated design and experience, and its simple and genuine hospitality.

BRAND INSPIRATION
Built around the beauty of simple and honest generosity, our bakery concept aspire to create and offer a simple act of comfort to its guests. The humblest of foods, and the heartiest of flavours, bread is a product that brings us all together. From Middle Easterns flat bread, to French baguettes, since the dawn of time, people of all walk of life have gathered around a table to “break bread” together. Our concept builds on the common ground that eating bread creates between travellers from all nationalities, nurturing guests with simple baked goods inspired by local flavours and international classics.













VISUAL IDENTITY
The visual identity is built around the beauty and imperfection of bread and baking in general. It celebrates the difference in every loaf and shape of bread and appreciate their unique beauty, just as the concept celebrates and welcome the diverse audience and guests it welcomes in its premises.




INGREDIENTS & MATERIALS
The patterns for the visual identity are crafted by blending selected finishes from the restaurant with textures inspired by the world of baking, such as grains, crumbs, and dough. This approach creates a sensorial and highly textured visual identity that reflects the tactile and comforting nature of baking. By drawing parallels between the materials used in the restaurant’s design and the familiar textures found in baking, the identity not only enhances the visual appeal but also deepens the connection to the brand’s core essence of warmth, inclusivity, and craftsmanship.
